Thanks for your interest in working with me! Below are some common questions I receive about my freelance writing services.

What are your rates?
My rates depend on your content needs. In general I charge:
- 17 cents/word for blog posts
- 25 cents/word for blog articles
- 30 cents/word for guest post submissions
- $45 for SEO research per post/article
I also offer a 10% discount for bulk projects and a 20% discount if you hire me on monthly retainer.

For hourly projects: The client and I will agree on a rough number of hours the project will take (e.g. 3-5 hours at a rate of $45/hour). I use Harvest for time tracking, which offers detailed time-reports for my clients.
For fixed price projects: If the client requires anything beyond online research before writing (e.g. conduct a Skype interview or listen to a podcast), I will charge an additional hourly rate for these tasks.
Can we set up a call to discuss my content needs?
Absolutely! You can reach out to my on Skype and we can set up a time to chat. Please note I charge $35/hour for consultation time.
We can also chat informally through email or Skype instant messaging with no consultation fee.
Do you offer revisions?
Yes! Revisions are offered at no additional charge as long as they are within the scope of work agreed upon at the start of a content project. This means that the overall topic, outline, and length of the content stays the same.
Revision requests must be made within 3 business days of content delivery to ensure quick turnaround. Revision requests made after 3 business days of content delivery will be subject to my current schedule and availability.
What are your payment policies?
For new clients, I require a 25% downpayment before beginning work. Final invoices must be paid within 15 days. Please note I cannot begin new projects until the outstanding invoice has been paid.
Any fees paid for services are non-refundable. I can assure you that I am dedicated to helping you achieve your goals, and I will work with you to make sure you are satisfied with each piece of content I provide.
How do we decide upon blog topics?
I am happy to work with topics and outlines you supply, or to suggest topics that will resonate well with your target audience. Or we can do a combination of both.
Is your ghostwriting service confidential?
Yes. I never mention clients I ghostwrite for, publicly or privately. You gain full usage and rights to the content I develop once you have paid for it in full. I’m also happy to sign a nondisclosure agreement if you need.
Can I repurpose content written by you that I have paid for?
Absolutely! I often suggest that clients take in-depth blog posts or a series of shorter blog posts and repackage them as ebooks, whitepapers, and lead magnets. You can also submit content I create to be re-published on other sites.
Do you write for SEO?
Yes, if you need. There are two different ways to approach this:
- You provide the keywords. Tell me what keywords you want your content optimized for before I write. I can follow your specifications for keyword placement and density, or I’ll follow on-page SEO best practices. If you need me to write your meta descriptions and image alt tags, let me know.
- I research keywords for you. I can identify some keywords for your topic based on relevance, search volume, and competition. I will also include related terms for latent semantic indexing. I provide this service at a flat rate of $45 per post/article.
How do you source/use images?
I source/use images based on your specifications, such as:
- Copyrighted images
- Copyrighted images with attribution
- Royalty Free only
- Creative Commons only
I also offer image editing where relevant. Usually these are illustrative screenshots that need markup.
